Notice to college over student fee


A division Bench headed by Chief Justice Cyriac Joseph on Monday ordered issuance of emergent notice to RV Dental College, JP Nagar, on a petition filed by a few second year BDS students over college fees.


The students had alleged that even though Justice Rangavittalachar Committee had fixed Rs 91,000 as the course fee for those enrolled in 2005-06, the college authorities insisted for Rs 2.75 lakh as fees. The students claimed that they had already paid Rs 1.65 lakh towards fees.
